We stopped by the event this morning. They had refreshments outside of a warehouse: cookies (same type as the ones they were giving out at Agave), small round pies (size of a child's palm - actually very good - not too sweet, fresh fruit flavor) and drinks (lemonade, tea and coffee). In the warehouse, they had a balloon maker for the kids, a movie running, survey takers walking around, and a booth for each builder. The builders had at least two sales people and were giving out floorplans and brochures. Some of the booths had giveaways (bag of seeds, hand sanitizer, mini lotion kit, pens, totes, etc.).
Prices were from high $700's to over $1000,000 with MR tax between the (approx.) $4000's to $5000's and potential increase of 2% per year. ???
The greeters up front were very friendly and so were the survey takers (they all looked like college kids) but many of the sales people at the booths pasted on very fake smiles if they had a smile and had that superior attitude and air about them. I think all of the sales people were white and most of the visitors were asian or some other non-white. Just watching them, I just didn't get the feeling that they were being very good sales people. Nothing like the Lambert Ranch sales people (first rate, professional and fitting of the price of the homes).
For the price point that they are planning to sell the homes, they really should be catering to the visitors instead of looking bummed out that they are at work on a Saturday morning.
Maybe they were scared of the toxic land they were working on
