Gravel

I went to Home Depot looking for gravel, but didn't find it. They have pea pebbles, which is about the size of the stones I'm looking for, but it's not the rougher cut and more uniform color that I'm seeking. They have the cut and color, but only in the larger pieces more like the size of lava rock or the white stones. Does anyone know where I can find bags of gravel? I'm not sure if I have the term 100% correct. When I say "gravel" I'm referring to the smaller rougher stones that are common in French gardens and parks.
