Does anybody know where to get a good full-service car wash in north or central irvine? Or lake forest?

Checkered flag car wash on Alton/Jeffrey

+1 for Checkered Flag.

They are super fast too.  For the basic wash, they can get it done in less then 20 min.

That's what I like about this place. If they are just average busy you can get out in 10-15 minutes. If they are very busy 20 tops.

Cost? Or I can't afford it if I have to ask?

17-18 for the basic or 20 for the super which includes and air freshener and tire dressing. I get the super, it's like three flowers for your tires :-)  Iho will probably be the only one who knows what three flowers is.

@paydawg:

Is your office in a business park that has car wash vendors?

Our office has 2 or 3 we can choose from and it's really convenient. You just have to trust them with your keys, they take your car and wash it all by hand and it usually runs around $15-20.

Unfortunately, my new job is in downtown and I take the train to work.  So I'm stuck getting my car washed on the weekends.  I've heard there are some car wash companies that will make house calls and do a full waterless wash for under $30.
