Garage Flooring

I wanted to do painting/coating to make the floor has a granite look and easier to clean.
 
Painting the floor yourself isn't too hard as long as you prep it correctly... and after all... it's the garage floor with a specked paint so you'll have a large margin for error.

You can probably call any painter to do it since it's that's basically what it is. PM me if you want the number of a painter I use.

Or should I say we see I2I on this one (sorry). 

It's more than just paint and the prep work makes a huge difference.  If done incorrectly you'll see bubbling and peeling that is tough to redo.

I apologize for not being clear.

When I talk about "paint", I mean the epoxy-seal "paint" designed for garage floors.

There is also another method where you put on a primer and another coat of resin.

You can also do the one that looks like little crushed pebbles.

Or you can use garage floor tiles.

In our first garage we had carpet (prior owner). It was weird and we were a bit scared it was a fire hazard.

Personally... I don't really care too much what the garage floor looks like... even if the "paint" chips or rubs off... it's a garage!
 
My new house garage floor has paint chips.  Actually, paint drippings from paint cans.

I thought about epoxy coating, but decided against it.  I figured that once I make it nice and shiny, I have to keep it looking nice and shiny.  I have enough choirs without adding garage floor maintenance to the list.
