Just did it myself to look at fridge ratings.. glad I didn't pay for this.. looked up two models and they were both discontinued, outdated?  Still free is free, and still need other house things as well.

Here's the link for the Lowe's mover coupon, always looking for it..

You can also get the 10% Lowes coupon at the Post Office when you ask for the Change of Address Packets (along with other coupons).  Pain is you have to line up at the counter to get them (they do not leave out with other forms) and some of the Post Offices often run out of the packets so you may have trek to more than one Post Office.  But if you are going to buy a big ticket item, certainly is worth it (usually works in addition to the store sale from my limited experience).

IMHO, Consumer Reports jumped the shark awhile ago.  I find most of their reviews worthless, especially consumer electronics.  Their car recs are a joke.  It's not their fault, you can't be an expert on everything.  Plus, competing online content is free (mostly) and robust.  The subscription based business model is dying a slow death.

You really think their car recs are a joke?

I find that the huge database of repair and reliability info to be useful.

Also true for appliances and other things that are replaced infrequently and repaired to keep going.

Update:  retailmenot.com has a working 10% off lowes coupon that can be used multiple times, if u got a discover card, it is an additional 5% back if u go thru discovers link.
