We received FHA approval on a home in Talega, but cancelled that. Throughout the process, however, I hearn nothing about certain "homes" being FHA approved. Rather, you need to meet FHA's criteria and the appraisal must be satisfactory. The latter may be the problem with certain condos/townhomes - i.e. $450k sales price, $399 appraisal - in that event, they would require you to pay the difference.
