Feedback: More Property Blogs, Less Commentary

Hi,



I wanted to give my $0.02 on this site...I would like to see more individual property blogs. The excellent new contributors to this site certainly offer great reads, but unfortunately this has been to the detriment of the wonderfully clean and easy to read homepage content of flips gone bad.



This site first piqued my interest because the interface was so clean and the keywords made it easy to find a neighborhood. I was staying abreast of the price changes in just a few minutes of browsing—it was great and I miss it!



I would love to see all the home page commentary moved over to the forum--exclusively. It is still fun to hear other's predictions, calculations, opinions, etc, but that is what a message board is for. I would love to see Zovall and others pick back up the pace on blogging homepage flips and flops.

First of all, thank you very much for your feedback. Although the blog started out in September mainly with posts about flips, this was not the only intent. We wanted to cover many aspects of Irvine RE with flips being just one component. At the time it seemed like I was able to discover a ridiculous amount of flips and so that 's what the posts mainly consisted of. Lately, finding good flips has been a little harder and I've been swamped with work so I've been unable to dedicate as much time as I would like.





We still intend to feature flips and I know IrvineRenter has some ideas on writing about flips as well. As far as finding the posts about a certain tract or village, the Tag Cloud is still available on the left column of the main page. The 'flip' tag in the Tag Cloud will return all blog posts that are related to flips.





These forums were intended to provide a venue for the many readers of the blog to create their own discussion topics. Pretty much anything regarding Irvine or Real Estate can be discussed here.





If anyone else has feedback regarding the Blog or the Forums, please do share. We can't promise that we'll make everyone happy but we really are interested in knowing what our little community here thinks.
