Ex-NFL player and CBS analyst Steve Beuerlein sells Dana Point house for $2.36 million

Steve Beuerlein, a retired NFL quarterback who works as a football analyst for CBS-TV, has sold his house in Dana Point's Bal Harbour community for $2.36 million.
The 5,426-square-foot house was listed for $2.695 million in May, then dropped to $2.595 million a month later. Beuerlein bought the house in June 2012 for $1.9 million, according to property records.
Set on on nearly a quarter acre, the traditional-style home has views of the Pacific Ocean, city and hills.
The five-bedroom home includes a front porch, large great room, living room with a fireplace, and a formal dining room with a built-in wine fridge.The gourmet kitchen has a center island with seating, Viking appliances and a walk-in pantry.
Outdoors are a stone patio and fireplace, heated saltwater pool and spa, and a built-in barbecue and bar.
Beuerlein, 50, played football at Servite High School in Anaheim and Notre Dame. His pro career spanned six NFL teams, including the Los Angeles Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals, Jacksonville Jaguars, Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos.
In addition to working as a TV game analyst, he?s a vice president at Willis Insurance Services of California.
Bob Kadan of Prime Property Associates was the listing agent; Wei Li of 168 Realty represented the buyer.
