Been eating here since I was little (the original store in TW).  Famous for their juicy pork dumplings, waits can be long but worth it.  We tend to over order since it's a drive from Irvine.  The waitress always ask if we are expecting more guests due to how much we ordered.  Again just get the juicy pork dumplings, can't go wrong.  Something about the texture of the skin of the dumplings that makes this place stand out, no other dumpling place comes close.

What's the thing shaped like a rocket?... and is it intentionally shaped like one or is this a Rorschach test?

It's a sticky rice with meat filling (you can see it opened in the wonton pic).  Looks like a face to me now....

Did you see the sign "no smoking 20' from the front door" but patrons still ignore the sign? Finally a Chinese bank went in the vacant space next door. This place is good where you will find me there 4 times a week. I am in the process of bribing each of 11 Mexicans to tell me their knowledge of 1/11 of the trade secrets then kidnap the tiny Chinese guy who does the meat mixture. Great food and consistent quality control. The place is overpriced but so far no other place could step up to threaten their reign.

Ate here two weeks in a row on the way back from SG valley...

Best side dish ever... Seaweed, bean curd, sprouts..  Good knife work.. Sweet tangy marinade.  Great starter.

It sure would be nice to have one in Irvine. Our family friend is a relative of the owners and told us the owners moved to Newport Beach so let's hope they'll open one here in the OC.
