Any one has experience of selecting windows coverings/blinds through design center?

By looking at the price sheet from Design center, window covers/Blinds seems very expensive thing :(

Any advice would be greatly appreciate.

100% do window treatments after COE.

1.  Window treatments are a rip off at the design center.

2.  Live in your house first, see where furniture goes, and leisurely get quotes from different vendors.  It's no biggie to have ghetto paper coverings for awhile.

I think we did this in our first new house.

Lol, umm...I can't do that.  I just get the paper accordion stuff.

Well... I think back then the paper accordion stuff they sell at Home Depot didn't exist yet (or I didn't want to spend money on them).

yeah, but these days things and information gets outdated pretty quickly. HAHHA

Thanks again, i have been making very good use of TI. This is a great place :)

In our first new home, years ago, the builder already had those cheap, white, roll down shades installed on all the windows.  It was surely usable for a couple of months until we ordered shutters and blinds at our leisure.  I noticed some people used them permanently.  You mean the million/multi-million dollar homes now don't even come with those cheap shades anymore?  Too ghetto? :P
