I happened to spot this new place yesterday after driving through the Trabuco Grove Shopping Center. They have been open ~ 3 weeks according to the cashier and they are owned by the same folks at Tustin Ono Ono and the now defunct Rancho Santa Margarita Ono Ono.

This place is very casual and focuses on popular Hawaii food (versus authentic native Hawaiian food). The interior is clean and spacious. You order your food at the cashier and read off of a menu above. The kitchen is an open layout and you can seat yourself.

The menu is similar to L&L Hawaiian BBQ and Aloha Hawaiian BBQ restaurant but has a few differences. I especially liked their Poke Bowl--soy marinated raw tuna on bowl of leafy salad (very good). My wife got their Mixed BBQ place--bbq chicken, kalua pork, and fried Mahi. It also included two sides--I think they have four choices--we got their Asian cole slaw (very good) and white steam rice. The Kalua pork was tasty and chicken/Mahi was okay.

I would go back to try some of their other dishes and they are open for breakfast as well.
