i am thinking to move to cypress village area, any reviews about cypress village school will be appreciated, thanks

Well, Cypress Village Elementary School is being recognized as one of Gold Ribbon Schools for 2016.

Maybe the Gold Ribbon thing was overrated but for a elementary that just opened in August of 2014 to be recognized as one of better schools, they must did something right.

I don't have any first hand experience with the CV Elementary (all I know is that the school facility is very nice) but lot of my neighbors with school age children seems to like it.

How about special Ed classes , it is as good as regular classes? Do teachers have the required qualification for special kids? Any experience with special Ed classes?
Thanks

Some one mention that the special ed classes at CV is full and his kids is going to Portola next year. Don't know the detail but seem like the poster of that thread is very happy with the CV Elementary and don't want his kid to be transfer.

I not familiar with the special ed program at CV Elementary but I can tell you that the Northwood High's special ed program is really good.  Currently the regular student at CV goes to Irvine High but the special ed students goes to Northwood.
