Covering up your bottom side..

No, no, not that.  :P

For my cabinets at the bottom in the kitchen, there are rectangular holes on the bottom edges and it seems there might be gaps all along the bottom.  I would like to cover these holes up since they seem to have passage to the walls, etc.  I don't want the bugs, etc. coming in through these holes and gaps.  Since I have to use a mirror to even look at it, I don't really care if it looks neat or not.  I would like to fill these gaps with something that hardens, not too soft like caulk.  Is there anything good for this?

Also, I have a built-in cabinet in another area that the tiles were not installed all the way underneath.  Again, unless you crawl on the floor and look into this area, it is not visible.  It's about 3ft. wide by about 4in length and about 1/2 in deep, due to the tiles in front of it.  Is there some way to fill this space up too?

Thank you very much for your help.

Thank you very much for your reply.

I tried to take a picture but the cabinet(s) above are too close for me to take a picture.

I assume for the rectangular (maybe 2in x 1in), I can use like wood putty?  I'm not sure about the longer strip of gap underneath?

I've used that foam that hardens for some of the other holes in the house but it's hard to control and it creates a huge ugly bubble.  Not to mention I had sticky, hard fingers for a week.  :P

Since all of the kitchen cabinet holes and gaps face downward, I need something that will stay up in there while it is hardening.

Can you take a picture and post it, so i can see how big of a gap you're talking about?
