I would love to host a baby shower for my sister who is surprisingly expecting (due to medical condition) at either Mirador or Cambria clubhouse. I want to give her a beautiful baby shower at the village, it is the perfect place. I love the village and been there for meetings. Unfortunately, I don?t live there. I spoke with the event manager and she said I would have to befriend someone to host the baby shower there. So if you don't mind, please befriend me so I can give my sister a nice baby shower at the village clubhouse. My email address is clbarnes1@hotmail.com.

Thank you,

Chant? Barnes

[quote author="roundcorners" date=1250067637]bk... where is your skeleton master FOB key for ALL the IAC/TIC recreational facilities?</blockquote>

Using the club facility requires reservation even when she could get in. The issue is not getting into the space but being in the space with a pregnant woman and friends IAC becomes liable for all accidents that occur in that space. A wet floor in the demonstration kitchen may potentially cause the future mom to slip and suffer a miscarriage. A lawsuit like that could trigger all logistic and any rules being violated by the tenant.

The fee that IAC charge reserving a space for a large gathering is for liability insurance. The leasing agreement the tenant signed with IAC has a clause that refer to the rules of using the club house. This is the primary reason why IAC needs to know about the party and occupancy size for liability assessment.
