More than just the restaurant was overhauled during the recent closure and remodeling. Here is the current menu:

I think they did a pretty good job on the remodel. They have closed off the stairs & courtyard in New Orleans Square, which used to be open to all park guests. Now, it is a reception area for Club 33 members and guests. (It is those blue stairs behind the giant "stained glass" looking gates.) They had hot chocolate waiting behind the gates. They offer hot towels since it was raining. On hot days, they offer cold towels and cool drinks. The stairs lead up to the new entrance. The layout is sort of long and narrow now. They did a good job keeping the character of the old place but I would say the new one is an upgrade. The restrooms are beautiful and much roomier. The dining area is nice and still has the balcony facing Tom Sawyer's Island and is overlooking the square. However, the lunch dessert buffet is gone. (Noooo! Not the dessert buffet!) I guess they had to make room for the new wine room / lounge area.

How were you able to get membership?  And if you don't mind, how much per year?  Like the drink menu, though stumbling around Disney drunk is probably not that fun.  Remember walking around Epcot with a bunch of drunk people surrounding you, not the Disney experience I was going for.  Walking with alcohol in hand is one of my pet peeves.

I hear you get front of the line passes as well?

One of my wife's old colleagues started his own consulting business and I want to say he paid 18k, for a corporate membership if I remember correctly, then there are the annual dues of about 10k or so I think.

A lot of people get passes from corporate membership. (Such as from the job they work for) It doesn't make sense for individuals to have a membership.

I am not a card holder. We know members.

I don't think you have to worry about stumbling drunks at Disneyland. Club 33 is the only place where alcohol is served in the park. California Adventure, on the other hand...

Yeah, I've heard Platinum members get FastPasses for immediate use. Not sure about the other levels. We were given Park Hopper tickets for our family along with the reservation to Club 33 but we waited in line like everyone else for the rides. As you might have heard in the news recently, Disney pulled the rug out from under the members by revoking some privileges. It may have affected the "front of the line" passes as well, I don't know. I know that I miss the "free" valet parking the most, d'oh.

Club 33 offers both corporate and non-corporate membership.

Yes, but financially it doesn't make sense unless your a 1%er .

I miss the Chateaubriand the most from their old menu. And like I said, the dessert buffet, which was a main reason I like to go for lunch versus dinner. It was disappointing that they did away with both. Here are some random pics from the new menu.

I have pics of the new interior if anyone wants them. So far I only posted photos that aren't readily available on Yelp or online. The interior pics might be; I haven't checked. If anyone requests them, I'll post them.

By the way, I could not believe how crowded it was at Disneyland & CA Adventure on Saturday, for it being a RAINY day post-Christmas rush and one of the "less crowded" days of the month per the Disneyland Crowd Tracker I used: isitpacked.com. I tried to pick the least crowded weekend in January to go. It rained on & off the first half of the day which made me hopeful it wouldn't be that bad of a crowd. It rained consistently from the evening, on. Our shoes and bottom half of our pants were completely soaked for hours, which was not fun at all! However, at least we brought umbrellas plus we also got ponchos there. There were a lot of people soaked to the bone without any rain protection at all but that apparently did not deter them! Large puddles on the ground, benches were wet, and you would think who would want to stand outside in the rain for any amount of time especially to go on an outdoor ride? There was still a 90+ minute wait for Radiator Springs! A 45 minute wait for Indiana Jones and Space Mountain! Crazy. This is why I don't go more than every couple of years. I can't stand the crowds and long lines. I don't think it used to be this bad.
