Class sizes?

Someone told me that their IUSD elementary had smaller class sizes... like 24 or 26.

I thought all IUSD elementaries had to have the same class size... 30+.

Fact or fiction?

fact- but not all the classes.  but if it were 2 classes it would be way over 35 in each class

At Alderwood, 127 2nd graders took the 2012 STAR.  The school directory shows 3.5 2nd grade teachers. So 36:1.

At Plaza Vista, there were 126 2nd graders and 4 teachers, 31.5:1.
