Annette Walker, president of strategy at Providence St. Joseph Health and chief executive at St. Joseph Health, has been tapped to lead City of Hope?s expansion into Orange County. Beginning in July, Walker, as president of City of Hope Orange County, will direct the development of the $200 million cancer center. Tentative plans for the 18-acre campus include the 70,000-square-foot City of Hope cancer center as well as other medical facilities and a boutique hotel for patients and their families. It will be built on land donated by FivePoint Communities. City of Hope, based in Duarte, is a private, not-for-profit research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases. In the past five years, City of Hope has grown to 29 locations across Southern California.

Is a hotel within a community a good idea?

I've seen how much 'riff-raff' like people come and go with airbnb rentals. Hotels... invites more or less of these types of folks. Especially as Compressed-Village says, the people that spit on floors.

It will be a high class amenities. I double down riff raff won?t have a chance. If BTB think homeless will be housing close by, i?ll take $100 bet and pay $150 if it ever happen. Gambling online is legal now in CA 😀 common BTB put your money where your mouth is.
