Anyone care to provide a review?  Got an email offer from TIC for B1G1.  Bunch of scary (It) clowns running around?  Or enjoyable family entertainment?

I bought tickets for tomorrow's show @ Great Park and will let you you know. Here is a video from their website. It looks like a mini Cirque du Soleil type show.

We went a couple of years ago.  It was OK, nothing like Cirque du Soleil but pretty entertaining for the value.  The tent was a bit warm so dress lightly.  Go early if you have little kids.  They taught the kids something like spinning a ball on a stick during pre-show.

My kid got bored halfway.

The whole arena was pretty small so no need to get VIP/front seats unless you want to be up close and personal with the clowns.

I looked at tickets yesterday for one of the sunday showings. Doesn't look like they sold many tickets. I was able to get row 1 tickets for the $35 section and my pick of any VIP seat if I wanted to fork over $70. I think we're going to skip it. Read some reviews on yelp, not sure if my kids will enjoy.

We went last Friday and we enjoyed it quite a bit. It was my kids first time at the circus and they had a great time but were starting to get antsy towards the end since it was past their bedtime.  They moved at a faster pace than Cirque du Soleil and less of the artsy, slow movement stuff. The quality of their equipment and costumes is definitely a little worn out and a little cheesier but it was also a fraction of the price.  I used the code AD40A to get $10 off each Arena ticket. It came out to $88 for a family of 4. We had a great time and the kids already want to go back to see it again.

My kids loved the show and enjoyed the audience participation. I hope they stay in business. The place was very empty. I'm obviously not a Irvine Tiger Dad--taking the kids out a on a school night  ;D
