Last time I drove through Old Towne Orange, I noticed The Bruery Provision store had closed.

Anybody have decent shops for picking up charcuterie and cheeses?  A good deli with a decent variety stocked? Maybe a Bresoala?  Capacolla? etc?

What bout Costco?  The one at the district has a decent selection of cheeses and meats.. might be party sizes but at least it should last well.

Surfas in Costa Mesa.  Not cheap by any means, but great selection and service.  Good place to get rarer finds and get introduced to new options that you may be able to find cheaper elsewhere (e.g. Sprouts)

Whole Foods pricing is OK if you price shop carefully.  I buy the Biotta beet juice from them and the prices on sale are cheaper than Amazon, plus you can ask for "case special" even if you didn't buy a whole case (I usually clean out the shelf).

The meats at Whole Foods will cost more than most other markets, and I personally don't think their lamb is better than Costco's.  However for organic produce, it's possible to find a few deals if you're careful.

Speaking of Surfa's, they sell Jangmo Jip kimchi.  @_@;;http://www.culinarydistrict.com/13416.html

I eat the selloeongtang at Jangmo Jip in La Palma, but don't recall them having excellent kimchi...
