Channel 2 just said that a woman's body was found dead in Irvine.

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
I think I saw that story on the register. <a href="http://www.ocregister.com/articles/police-burned-release-2553863-news-business">Link</a> *warning* disturbing

I have a really good joke but it's not appropriate. I am sure others can figure it out.

Good eye, Grace.

The body was found in the "1800 block of Kettering" which is a business complex. The photo caption mentions a Pasternack Enterprises so I fetched the <a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&safe=off&ie=UTF8&q=pasternack+enterprises+irvine&fb=1&split=1&gl=us&cid=0,0,10637030600614852787&ei=4kqjSrzeFYj5nAeUjsW6BQ&ll=33.696459,-117.844548&spn=0.024065,0.038581&t=h&z=15&iwloc=A">Google map here. </a>Near Redhill & Alton.

I'm sure somehow she must have died/been murdered in Santa Ana and was dumped in Irvine.

The best was the interview. Was that guy stoned? "It's sad when anybody dies." Did he really say that? LOL

The killer did everything to make sure the body stay in Irvine. However, Detective John Hare has not ruled out suicide yet and the exact place where the victim died. He did not comment on the gruesome nature of the crime and has no compassion for the deceased. His primary concern was articulating that the crime probably did not happen in Irvine.

Because of the Labor Day weekend no Tustin, Santa Ana, and Orange Police showed up to bail out IPD.

I think the killer has been monitoring IHB?

C'mon, Bk. Unless the murder occurred in Santa Ana, it is a suicide.

Criminals know that IPD is not experienced in dealing with horrific crime due to the lack of experience working in a safest city.

IPD is not interested in seeking justice for the victims' family, solving the crime or finding the killer. The department is focused on crime prevention to maintaining that perfect record rather than keeping cases alive and stirring up bad press.

Dumping bodies in Irvine is an excellent way to get away with murder because the department is too busy trying to prove the crime did not take place there.

Was this near the Skypark circle, that wonderful collection of pre-fab concrete buildings and easy access to the 55/405/73 with zero residential presence and lack of routine police patrols between MacArthur and Redhill?

It's just north of Skypark. I've had occasion to be in the neighborhood in the wee small hours and it reminds me of one of those old science fiction themes... If you're there after dark, it's like you're the only person left on the planet. Many of the parking lots around the buildings are poorly lit, also. The building on Langley (one block south of crime scene) where I worked had a real problem with that. I had to park with my headlights on so I could see to unlock the building's door.

Heh, I should have added a ;) to my post. I'm familiar with the area as it was once a nice place to do business... privately. Back when I was mis-spending my youth, that is.

I think the reporters mentioned that Irvine is one of the safest cities like 3 times and then I like how the officer at the end said that they are trying to determine whether she was burned here or elsewhere. Maybe the killer is an anger bitter renter ready to buy but does not want to pay $375/sf so he's gonna try to bring down the prices through his/her criminal acts.

Absolutely, the completely burned body was to assure her body does not get sent to a Santa Ana Hospital and claim that she died in Santa Ana. Now the Irvine Police is trying to determine the place of death rather than who did this.
