Can someone check if these private rentals are in good standing?

So, we are moving out and going to rent. Well if you remember correctly, I was trying to cancel escrow but it didn't happen so now we are looking for a place to rent. Can someone check to see if these prop's are going into foreclosure or if they are considered "safe".

While the info you posted is public record, we here at IHB like to not post the owner's name. I went ahead and removed the owner's name from your posts. And, I am sure you understand why, especially since you are publicly known on here. If someone contacts you privately, it is up to you to give out that info, or give them the address for the county recorder.



Last thing I want is for you to have a setback on getting those plugs.

Ah, and I was one of your biggest fans! ;-P My screen name may be CalGal, but I was born and raised in Boston. You can move me out of Boston, but you can't change my alliance to the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins or Celtics. :-) We are die-hard fans.

Agreed. But noted that owner name is absolutely essential in this case. Otherwise one could be advertising someone else's home for lease, collect 1st and last month plus security deposit and be *poof* gone. Cockadoodle lease scam.

I don't see notices of default on any of those properties...
 
Escrowbear, you can also check out the <a href="http://www.ttc.ocgov.com/tcweb/search_page.asp">County's Tax Collector's website</a>

to see if the owners are current on their taxes.

Just plug in the address.

The three you listed in your original post look as if they are current on their taxes.

When short on funds, most people stop paying their taxes before they stop paying their mortgage.

From where do I get this info?



I'm facing stiff resistance from my husband in moving into another apartment. We've already given notice at our current place but haven't picked a place to move yet!!! So looking at private rentals now; I'm over cautious even in normal situations, this is starting to give me nightmares.
