Thinking about buying a new construction home at Cressa. The base price for the residence 3 is around 1.1 million.

I am concerned with the extra cost of upgrades and landscaping. Just curious to know if anyone here bought a similar residence. What were the costs for your upgrades? When talking to the sales people, they will not release the cost of the various upgrades.

Thanks!

Just to give you an idea, most of my new home buyer clients spend about 3-5% of the purchase price on upgrades from the builder (another 1-2% after closing) plus cost of landscaping which can vary greatly.

That sounds really low. Does that include hardwood floors (at least on the main floor), upgraded countertops and an upgraded master bathroom (tiles up the wall) - this is all we really care about; everything else we are okay with standard.

A lot of people upgrade flooring after COE.

The builder is not going to tell u upgrade costs for those three items because costs vary a lot based on what product you choose.

The sales team doesn't know the cost of anything except structural upgrades. Most builders have design centers where you specifically choose all the non-structural upgrades. Only the designers know the exact price of flooring, countertops, paint, etc. Within those upgrades there are quite a few different choices at different price points.
