Great graph - the latest mountaneous boom makes the spike in the late 80s look like a speed bump by comparison. Pretty obvious where things are headed in the next few years.
 
I did some quick calcs and thought that maybe prices aren't all that out of whack. Then I saw that the chart already discounts for inflation. Holy **** is right.

<p>What is also interesting is how IR's graph of DTI to Irvine's house prices also bottoms out in 1997. That was the time to buy.</p>

<p>I'm SOOoooo glad i'm into apartments now. But at the same time, i'm worried I won't have enough capital to weather the storm....</p>
