Boston

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
My daughter lives in Winthop. Actually, she tore down her house (400 square

foot shack), and is building a new place. Maybe it's not such a good time to

be doing that, but she felt it is now or never. She doesn't think that the inner

city or inner burbs are doing too badly, but says the outer burbs are beginning

to have foreclosure problems.

She refuses to show anybody what it will look like for fear it will jinx her

project. She will able to see the water from the second floor as she is halfway

up a hill.

Best prime rib....evah ! Durgin Park The chowdah isn't bad either.

Also, the oldest continuously operating restaurant in the U.S.....serving since 1826 Union Oyster House

Union is a tourist spot. For the real deal head over to Salem St and the Neptune Oyster Bar. Peroni on tap as well.

Capital Grille on Newbury is awesome.

Lucca in the North End for sublime Italian.

Bova's bakery afterwards for a lobster claw.

The Rack for a night out.

It's a great town.

[quote author="lawyerliz" date=1220047293]I've eaten in a bunch of places claiming to be oldest. One was in

Newport.

I've eaten in a nice little place in Santa Fe New Mexico. Supposedly the "place" had been started in 1630ish...

Old indeed.

I love Boston, the old homes are awsome as well as almost any place to eat. Suprisingly I seem to have that "Boston" look without trying too much.

It's the button down Oxfords Bix. You're a preppy.....don't fight it.
