I saw this a few months ago when I went to Lee Sandwiches and wondered what it was... so we ate there last night. Turns out it's like Subway (or Chipotle) but for pizzas.
Basically you line up and tell them what to put on your pizza and they "fast fire" bake it and it's done in less than 5 minutes (at least for us). It took longer for us to wait in line to order than to get our pizza.
They have preset configurations or you can build your own with a combination of any 3 meat or cheeses and then unlimited veggie toppings... for $6.85 (a simple pie, only cheese and sauce is $5.00). I think it's a 10-12 size pie... but it's only thin crust (which is why they can cook it so fast).
It was actually pretty good and if you compare it to a place like CPK, it's half the cost. They also have these s'mores cookies you can buy for dessert, they can heat them up and they are yummy... but a little high priced at $2.50 each.
I hear there is a new Chicago's style pizza in Costa Mesa... Rance's Chicago Pizza... we are probably going to check it out this weekend.
