Helllo,

I am new here.. Could some one pls tell me of a bakery that is known for their custom cakes.. Its for my 4yr old's bday. She wants to have a priness cake(ie a cake shaped in the form of a princess)

Do you mean this kind of cake, with a Barbie stuck in the middle of the cake-skirt?

If you can venture outside of Irvine, I'd give Rockwell's in Orange a try. They've earned a good reputation throughout Orange County. I've had good luck using them, although I've never requested this. They do make custom cakes. Or, if you want to attempt it yourself, it does seem easy and VERY fun!

Blackmarket bakery does custom cakes. They are a bit pricey but delicious. I think their address is in Santa Ana but it's a couple blocks from johnnwayne airport.

Let Them Eat Cake in Costa Mesa does custom cakes. I saw them on Food Network's Cake Challenge and drove by their old locations a few times:
