trying to look up comparison pricing of rental homes vs purchasing in irvine, and curious as to what site is best. there are seemingly tons of rental sites when i look it up on google, all with different housing listings which may or may not be up to date. any suggestions? thanks...

Craigslist.org and realtor.com are decent sites to look for rentals. MLS can also be a very good source to see active rental listings.

See this thread where we have discussed how to find rentals in Irvine.

Unfortunately it is not available to the public, but sites like realtor.com do pull their information from MLS (although they can be a little off).

+1

Used both to get my private rental.

Also used Irvine Realtor's website with MLS lease information...also very useful information in excel spread sheet format.

Good luck!
