Just for comparison, here is Newport Coast

Shady Canyon because it's subtle unlike the properties that lay behind the gates!

Newport Coast is quite prominent from that photo, haha.  Reminds me of a guy standing on a hill pushing his chest out.

Man... test actually put up a great poll post.

I like the Woodbury, Cypress Village and Portola Springs ones the best because they are like guard towers.

This one, though, is my favorite:

My vote is for WB. The community was developed during the era of RE excess/peak bubble pricing. TIC will never spend the money to build another WB--ornate towers at the entrances, resort style Commons area, upgraded lamp posts, etc...

Impressive. I'm going to get that framed and put it in my office. I knew one day I'd be famous and something would get named after me!!

I think Laguna Altura looks and feels the most prestigious.  It's been conveniently excluded from this poll.

I used to live on the corner right across the street from that tower.  I could see it clearly from my bedroom window.  I swear I saw shadows lurking in that tower a couple times.  Creepy.

I only included villages actively selling new or upcoming homes.  Threw in Shady Canyon and Newport Coast to compare with the high end.

Did anyone else notice that the lettering on the Orchard Hills monuments has been changed from black to white?

I liked the black lettering better.  Why did TIC change it to white????
