Best "As Seen on TV" Product... EVER!

Have you seen the TV ad for this product? The guy is so sleezy - reminds me of someone working a rip-off booth at a really bad carnival.
 
I haven't seen the TV ad. I just heard about it on Kevin and Bean. Coincidentally, a co-worker mentioned it the same day. I just saw the video on the website. That's a really cool product or decent special effects. But I agree, carnies aren't cool.
 
i bought those synthetic chamois before at the county fair. they work for a while but the material deterioriates and loses absorbency very quickly. a real leather chamois isn't that much more expensive. a worthwhile investment.



i'm such a sucker for those home product demos. swifter wipes, the shark mop vaccuum, the swivel sweeper, the magic mop, etc.
 
At our house we have a running joke about the sham-wow. We've seen the presentation at the county fair, OC Marketplace, and - just recently- on the TV. It's amusing that the pitch is always the same... spill the diet coke, flip the carpet sample, etc. We haven't ever actually bought one though because the pitch and slick salesman routine is a bit icky. Not big fans of the hard sell.



On a related store I went to my first "As Seen on TV" stores in Solvang this summer. We hardly bought anything there but it was really cool seeing all those products in one place... the clapper, bedazzler, chia pets galore.
