Artificial grass

Has anyone installed artificial turf recently? If so, can you recommend someone?  It's not a big job though.  Just for the small patch of grass out in front.

I haven't been successful growing grass in this area and the HOA sent me a letter saying it needs to be fixed.  They said artificial grass is o.k. as long as the neighbors sign off on it.

Anyone know a ballpark cost per sq. yard, etc.?

You know that your neighbors have artificial turf because it sticks out like a sore thumb or just a little different?

I really want to re-sod but the "boss" wants artificial turf.  Although I don't go around looking at other neighbor's landscaping, I don't think any of the neighbors that I can see have artificial turf so there may be some resistance to it.  Don't know yet until we go around to get their signatures.

a few neighbors put this in around here... i think there are several different grades (or quality types) that you can choose from.
