Let's see if we can make this work... no political or partisan saber rattling here, let's discuss stuff without having to resort to left/right.

2 subjects I think we can agree we want to happen:

1. How to end the Russian/Ukraine war.
2. How to create peace in Gaza.

Quite honestly, I don't think #1 is going to happen until Putin wins Ukraine... and then who knows where he will go after that.

#2 hasn't been settled in a billion years... what makes anyone think it will happen now?

1. Place 100% tariffs on all purchasers of Russian oil to force them to come to the negotiating table and give Ukraine the green light to hit central Moscow with long range missiles
2. Cut off all aid to Egypt and Jordan and drill baby drill like no tomorrow to tank oil prices to force them and Saudi and the Gulf Sunni monarchies to take the Palestinians and deploy a US-Canadian-Mexican peacekeeping force to conduct an orderly evacuation . West Bank too. Israel has won every war launched by the Palestinians and Arabs prior and there is no other option to secure Israel from another Oct 7 ever happening into again. May need to include a Naval embargo of Iran to block their oil sales as well, and possibly destruction of their refining facilities.
 
People say Trump's plan to temporarily relocate Gazan's back to Jordan and Egypt, scrape the earth, and rebuild Gaza into the "Riviera of the Middle East" is impossible.

Consider this:

Disneyworld is 30,000 acres.
Gaza is 90,000 acres, or 3 DW
The Irvine Ranch is 100,000 acres.

The plan is entirely possible to get done. If Disney can build huge parks, and The Irvine Company can master plan that large of an area, so could America. The will to do so by Gaza, Egypt, Saudi, and Jordan just isn't there. You also have the same issue as we had in Germany with de-Nazification, and Japan in eliminating their own racial superiority beliefs and Emperor worship. That can also be done with Gazan's, but it appears it can only be done through Total War.

Do economic sanctions even work? Hasn't seemed to be a problem for Russia... all their Starbucks are now Svezdabucks.

True, as it's not our war. If it was, we'd just do what we did to Germany and Japan until there was an unconditional surrender. From there we had the Marshall Plan to rebuild these places.

Since it's not our war, we could always end foreign aid to Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon until they see things our way. They may fold as fast as Columbia, Canada, Venezuela, and Mexico have in the face of tariffs.
 
The cost of rebuilding Gaza is estimated at $40-80 billion with large profits to be made. Regardless of who end up doing it, follow the money.

Trump has his way of doing things with grandstanding and being offensive to specific group(s) to get them to act.

Egypt and Jordan have for decades used Palestinians on their former territories (Gaza was administered by Egypt and West Bank by Jordan) as buffer zones against Israeli expansion in a NIMBY way. The Egyptians blame Israel for their policy of limiting Gaza's economic development, while the Egyptians did exactly the same by demolishing homes and building walls - paid for by "aid' from US. The Israelis built 100 meter walled buffer zone, the Egyptians, 2 miles wide. Israelis use Palestinians as cheap day labor, Egyptians squeeze Palestinians thousands of dollars in "coordination fees" to enter Egypt.

So now Trump is throwing eggs at Arab states to take an active role and paying for the cleanup, reconstruction, and bringing Hamas under control - or else. If they don't take action, then Trump Gaza Construction & Property Development Corp will take over and do it his way - expect Palestinians to end up as low cost construction labor ("beautiful jobs!").

As for Ukraine, both Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky are looking for off-ramps. I think they'd be willing to give Trump credit as peace maker and settle, at least in short term. Despite the propaganda, the war is not going well for both sides.
