I've only used Automax for an oil change.  They're cheaper then the dealer by about $50.  Good service, need appointment though, gets really busy.  This is for a lexus oil change.

Auto Clinic, I think is even cheaper for a oil change if you have an lexus.  Never used them for that before.  Maybe less then $30.  They did a major service for my Chysler, timing belt, tune-up, etc.  So far so good.  Friendly service.

When I had a honda, I used them for oil changes.  Lot of chinese traffic due to owners being chinese?  Can get busy.

I know of one place only by it's location. The shop is tucked back off of Construction Circle. The owner speaks little English and knows his way around Japanese cars since he likely built a few back in the Land of The Rising Sun. I think it's called "Nicks" but don't quote me.  If you can get around the aloof service afforded to gai-jin, the work and price are outstanding.

Dan's Autocare Express on Bristol, in CM/NB, is excellent.

I have been taking all my cars there for over 15 years.  I've never had a bad experience.

Recently got my wife's Lexus oil change done at Auto Clinic.. around $30.. which is less then half of other non-dealers charge.  Friendly service, call ahead for appt.  They specialize in Mercedes/Audi though.  Was able to wait for the service, around 35 minutes.  And no they don't wash your car.
