Having grown up in OC, I can remember this happening in the 90s. I am a bit too old to remember the full fledged drained pools of 95-97, but I was part of the first round of layoffs that resulted in abandoned pools. Man... how I wish we had teh Google back then. It would have made things a lot easier, and probably a lot less interaction with the cops. It wasn't fun being at a house that drained their pool for reasons other than a foreclosure.



But this is exactly what it was like...

Good article, Graph. I never would have thought the sk8ters are visiting MLS sites to look for these places. I think they are ultimately doing the city and the bank a big favor. I say let them keep it up but without the threat of citations.
