HELP!!  HELP!!  HELP!!

Looking for a great tutor for after school scholastic help.

Have an 8-year-old and a 7 year old girl looking for a good after-school tutor. They are very creative and active - they love to make and build things and enjoy playing sports. We are looking for a academic tutor that is great in reading and math & can help them with homework.

Looking for a younger adult that is great with kids and that can really connect with them at their level. Looking for someone through end of school year and through part of summer.    Any referrals would greatly be appreciated!


 
I personally would not take recommendations from strangers.  Ask your child's teacher or call your school district to ask for recommendations.  They won't be as cheap as a young person but good ones know how to teach based on how your child learns.

I was going to ask if your kids went to Pioneer middle school but they are only 8 and 7...
 
Hi there resortbackyard! My name is Chrissy and I am an experienced elementary teacher who has been teaching for 13 years! I am a south county resident and am looking for students to work with over the summer months to stay current on their skills, as well as for those who need that extra push during the school year. Subjects I generally work with students on are mathematics (up to algebra) and Language Arts (spelling, grammar, reading comprehension, phonics, and writing).

I currently teach music at Community Roots Academy for kindergarten through middle school as well as Aliso Viejo Christian School fine arts for 4th-8th grade. My teaching career began with student teaching 2nd and 4th grade, then becoming a 5th grade teacher. Music has been a passion of mine for all of my life, so now teaching music is a wonderful way to instill a love of music in students! I have been tutoring for 8 years and also give private voice lessons as well.
