Acid Wash Concrete or Travertine in Backyard?

Having a hard time deciding between a very very light colored acid wash concrete floor or travertine. On a tight budget, but someone told me that I shouldn't get concrete because it cracks really easily. Is this really true? After how long can I expect to see cracks?

I would think travertine would crack more easily in the backyard.

Concrete is fine if it's cheaper... but I guess a benefit of travertine is you can replace the cracked tiles.
