I have always been a fan of comfy accent chairs that I can sit and read in.

Thinking of getting this one for the guest bedroom:

Once I saw a rattan chair/pod like an eggshell. We didn't own a house then, and we couldn't afford a thousand dollar chair either. Trying to search something like that but this is the closest I can find:

SoCal- can you help me find a cheaper and smaller version of this chair? I like the shape more than the material..

 
Have you thought about a wing chair?  I have one in my bedroom and it's great to sit and read on. 

Only thing the wing chair doesn't have compared to the ones you posted is a canopy for those leaky roofs.... i mean "rainy" days...

LOL! But I still want something with a "roof" :-)
Anyway, it will be in guest bedroom, so I don't have to argue with Mr.Zirconia at home.

It looks good. Everything else in that room will be oh-so-living-spaces. Want to get something special. BTW this is featured in at least two magazines this January. Of course it was the expensive version that cost twice this chair on Amazon.
Haha! yeah, when I am sitting by the window and reading in that chair, I don't want to get a tan :-)
