It's bank owned. The $3000 was the banks fake minimum bid, but really they had a specific reserve, and no one at the auction bid on it because the reserve was too high, or there is something wrong with it. No interior photos leads me to believe the place is absolutely destroyed.
 
It might be fine inside, but the listing agent is just lazy due to it being a low-end (for Irvine) REO. The listing agent might even be getting a reduced commision.



I doubt it's turnkey, though, but it could just be carpet+paint+typical wear and tear as opposed to one of the listings Jim the Realtor likes shocking everybody with.



Edit: Bet they took the stove, though, because the listing mentions it has a dishwasher and a garbage disposal but doesn't mention the stove, meaning it probably doesn't exist.
