How come when Bush asked congress for 600 billion extra for the war nobody even Batted an eyelash?

then we all get balistic about 700 bil on banks.

Both go to fund private corporations. (AIG, WAMU, or Colt, Lockeed martin, Hummer, Black water, Haliburton etc..)

but one kills a lot of innocent people. pisses of most of Nato, not to mention the muslims 1/5 of the world population which did not like the USA much before.

And Mcsame want's to continue in Iraq until we win??

What is his definition of win. All Iraqis dead?

Most Americans cannot connect the dots to well.

because there are people like me who think that money is going directly into the pockets of the billionaires who created the problem in the first place. Obviously it's not that simple but when we kept reading headlines that Wall Street is paying record bonuses of billions of dollars for profits that probably never even existed, it's difficult not to get a little bit angry. The war in Iraq is far away and it's easy not to think about especially if it doesn't directly effect you on a daily basis. The prospect of having your bank fail, your retirement savings dwindled to next to zero, your parents' pensions funds being completely obliterated hits a little closer to home.

Do you think 9/11 is some how connected to Iraq & the Bathist regime of Sadam?

I think he's just mocking how Giuliani, Graham, McCain/Bush, Palin ie. The Republican party/McCain campaign always use 9/11 card to get the fear factor votes.

I think we're at level burnt sienna today.
