2011 New Year's Resolutions?

On this eve, I hope to do the following in 2011:

1. Cut down the size of the IHO view lot:
Injuries in the past few years have kept me from being as active as I used to be but it seems most of those are remedied and hopefully I can get enough exercise to battle this old age loss of metabolism. Maybe eating less will help too :D

2. Find a place to be happy in:
Hopefully rates will stay low and prices will come down some more so we can buy a decent home for a reasonable price. I doubt it will be 3CWG but sometimes you have to make concessions for location.

3. Stay financially stable:
Mrs. IHO has expressed interest in cutting down hours or doing a career change to facilitate after-school care of the munchkins. We'll see how that goes come fall of next year.

4. Win IPO's Fantasy Basketball League:
That one is a longshot, I'm languishing in 3rd/4th and I have more games than most other teams.

I would get into all the religion, relationship, touchy-feely stuff but RC can expound on that.

Happy New Year everyone and may all your resolutions (or at least a few) be kept!

I don't usually make resolutions because I NEVER keep them, but this year I did. So far I've kept it, and it's been almost 2 days already! I'm so proud of myself.

I make them and break them, every year. This year's list is pretty small:

1. I will not hate the people who walk out of the houses, and I will not curse them for making us pay their debt. Hard, but I can be a good forgiving person if I try.

2. I will read. Only read 3 books all of last year, and I think I counted a Dr. Seuss book in that..

3. I will make my career my primary focus. Hopefully the children will appreciate mommy doing what she loves best.

4. Meet the parents, and in-laws and listen to them patiently without offering advises. Understand that they just want to be heard and are capable of solving their issues.

5. Get a grip on eating out. Spent 4980 on Discover card alone, and we don't even go to ultra expensive places. Use the same money on a good vacation.

6. Learn to cook lighter and faster dishes. Someone wrote a book "better lighter faster java". Wish they would write one for mommy cooks.

7. Watch a few adult movies at least, by that I mean not animated ones dished by Disney.

8. Stop worrying about weight, and accept that all good things must grow.

9. Oh, I will try my best not to be compulsive:-) I don't know how that will go..unwilling to give it a try still..

LOL! By adult movies, I meant "subject" not suitable for children:-)
