Woohoo! More pregnant anchor baby mamas, B-2 Visa prostitutes, and mistresses to house them all. Irvine needs the money.

So true. Luxury + Irvine seems like an oxymoron.

Who is more guilty? The ones who come in for ?questionable? purposes, to escape a life of despair and harsh living for a chance at making the big bucks and sending it back home to their sick loved ones in need.... or the people in suits and ties sitting at a conference room foie gras hors d?oeuvres served for lunch perched high above the Newport Beach high rise surrounded by glass window panoramic ocean views?

Yeah. I know the answer.

That reminds me ... this new development could actually be a cheaper alternative for those suit and tie boomers in Newport Beach to keep their mistresses , compared to say , the Newport Villas

2nd'd.  I would appreciate it if the city would re-evaluate it's development path.  Less emphasis on moving units to the highest bidder and more focused on the quality of life residents paid premiums for.

Genuinely curious to hear your answer.  I don't think there's a right answer, it kind of goes back to the "is it okay to steal bread to feed your starving baby?"

Somewhat related to the B-2 Visa claim...  I hear another way overseas people (probably the poorer ones with less access to alternative paths to US citizenship) enter the country is through religious groups.  The soon to be US citizen will sign up with a religious group in their country.  The religious group gets them to US soil and the person claims religious asylum to begin their path to citizenship.  It's a creative way to abuse our system.  Not only do they get permanent resident status (and eventually citizenship), but they also get discounted health coverage (think medi-cal and Obamacare subsidies) and tax credits for documenting just the right amount of income (think earned income tax credit).

It's one thing for people to make a better life for themselves through hard work and a bit of good luck.  It's another for them to break/abuse/take advantage of state & federal law in the process.

The price pressure with current rent prices is going to lead to more developments like this. High housing costs will lead to a supply response which in turn will lead to higher density living. Seems inevitable ?\_(?)_/?

Ha, I don't think Mr. Lincoln ever said that.  Do you have a reference?

Dude, I'm starting to think either you and I are neighbors like you said or we grew up in the same hood.

We could probably get to the bottom of it, but some anonymity is alright with me.  Internet high five to you though!
