I can easily see the new Solis and Lunar park communities in GP using foothill as the primary shopping center. All those residents have to do is drive 2 miles up on Alton and you're there. Seems much more convenient than Woodbury.

Nope was just listing random examples. Cypress seems good but Great Park isn't the best example when comparing to PS.. GP is just as far in terms of amenities and mello roos are insane.

This was always so disappointing. Foothill Town Center is packed with retail and food choices, including a Walmart supercenter, Target, Ralphs, Food Court, etc. So sad that PS will likely never have convenient access. The new GP retail center seems just as far if not farther than Woodbury Town...

I'm genuinely curious as to where these meadows kids are going to enroll. Isn't Foothill Ranch Elementary stuffed to the brim.. with all the foothill neighborhoods + baker ranch, which are all massive communities. The SVUSD website has no schools assigned for the meadows yet either. Sad

HIGHLY unlikely, I dont see any possible locations for a new school, will probably just get zoned to Eastwood, Stonegate, or the one in Northwood Pointe

Are they building more homes in great park? Looking at google maps I can see what looks like house plots to the freeway side of Astor, which I believe was an area not included in the original solis park plan.

Not sure how feasible this would be, but what is stopping Irvine and Lake Forest from connecting Portola Parkway in Foothill Ranch to Portola Parkway in Springs? Both roads end off abruptly at the edge of each city, and connecting the road would mean plenty of retail and dining options for PS...

I wouldn't think so. Its not just OH4 that benefits from it either way, its pretty much all of North Irvine so if they're going to put it on OH4 might as well give it to everyone.
