    We looked at Alara when it came about. If I recall, the standard lot size was 5700sq ft. Sales said these are 3600 sq ft, yikes. At least they have driveways...

    Stopped by yesterday. Sales office intro’s with “hello, half the lots are sold.” Lot map shows all the good ones are gone. 3 story feels very tight. TB offsets this with floor level windows, floating stairs, etc. Sides are just the gate now, so about 3 ft.

    Site map is up. Would avoid any lots along Irvine Blvd (road noise). Apron is not really single loaded. Lots 61, 62 and 46 probably best in the development. I guess you could take 72 if you want to park an RV in that laughably long driveway.

    Yup, scheduled HOA meeting. Main question is the recommendation for a COOL roof which from what I can gather is not a requirement. Maybe we need another roofer.

    My mom's house in Irvine needs a new roof. She wants a black color. Roofer mentioned COOL roof guidelines as a reason to go for a lighter roof. Any truth to this? Left a message with the Building department but no call back yet. Irvine city website re-roofing page does not mention anything about...
