I love having an EV as a daily driver (tesla Model 3), but it's not as fun as my previous BMWs. I went to look at getting a weekend Porsche to scratch that itch, insane how much money they are for 8 year old cars with 40k miles. Might have to wait a few more years of RSUs...

Rodrigos is some of the least interesting mexican food I can think of. Go to Super Mex, go to Taco Factory, Avilas, pretty much anywhere.

I haven't been in a few years, but Paul Martin's at the Spectrum had the best cheeseburger hands down I've had anywhere. It used to be around $12, but I think so many people would order it compared to their otherwise less than memorable more expensive entrees, they raised the price every year...

I do go up to the Bay regularly for work, and that will go on the list, but when i'm in the Bay these days I try to eat as much as I can at the free cafes since I don't get free dinners down here in OC :p

Never been to Capital Grille for steak. How does it compare to Mastros, The Ranch, Bourbon Steak, or A Restaurant? Those are all my top steak places.

BB.Q Chicken is pretty great, love the spicy galbi sauce (and it's not too spicy). Angelina's pizza in Irvine is phenomenal, maybe only bested by Mozza in Newport Beach. I eat here way too much. Hakko's Katsu is one of the few places I feel like I get a good deal these days. It's not cheap...

Wow that's awful. I'm curious if you guys think that this kind of home would be hard to unload if the FCB dried up for some reason. I'm not saying it's likely they'd dry up, but let's say there was some extra tax California or OC decided to enact, and using houses as a place to park money...

How are we going to pay the debt otherwise? You need to inflate it away. Rates are coming down. Maybe not next year, but for sure in the next 24 months.

Do you guys think if Prop 13 was to only apply to primary residences, and/or extra taxes on corporations buying SFHs, it would drive prices down? Those are two things I see potentially happening in my lifetime, but i'm not sure it would even do all that much. Maybe some investors might bail...
