BTW, went to the Irvine Gelson’s for sushi today and was blown away by the quality. Young Japanese female sushi chef. Tuna is akami, king salmon, blue crab for the rolls, and 10 beers in tap. Hidden gem of Irvine.

Sadly Croissants Du Tokyo in Tokyo Central is no more.


About a block away is Sakae Sushi, about as old school as it gets. Take out only, call ahead to order (made fresh).
