President Trump

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
so should the NBA be race and gender balanced?🤷🏽‍♂️
Oh sure... pivot to sports. Unless you want to talk about the corporate bias, NBA players are largely predicated on performance. Cooper Flagg is the next coveted pick next draft.

You are so bad at trying to compare things. Why didn't you say NHL?

One thing that cannot be denied is people of privilege have no idea what it's like to be on the other side, this is also why they cannot understand the need for DEI.

As much as they say they know... they can never truly know.

There is nothing wrong with diversity, equality or inclusion... why make it sound like it's bad and the cause for anything wrong?

And why can't the president stop blaming everyone and just acknowledge the tragedy and say we will find out what happened. This is what I meant before about not electing someone who can't represent the office with dignity.

1) You're pretending to care deeply for your imagined group called the "underprivileged" while simultaneously hating and demonizing your imagined group called the "privileged". This is quite divisive rhetoric.
2) DEI is racist, prejudice, and anti-meritocratic.
3) If you want compassion talk to a licensed therapist.

There's no way that a dominant demographic can be the best qualified in the majority of roles/positions.

There are so many cases where the female or POC are better... but they don't win.

You just can't admit "survival of the racist/sexist".
really,? Be honest, the vast majority of the players in the NBA are one color. You say that just can’t happen. Clearly it has so should the government step in and equalize the NBA and add more Asian, Hispanic and white players in order to more accurately reflect the countries demographics? You know…diversity, equity and inclusion .🤦🏽‍♂️👎🏽😂😂😂

Exactly….he bluntly cuts to the chase of a very possible effect of just that DEI program…not hiring enough staff and not hiring the most qualified because of skin color mandates….DEI can lead to deaths and in this…may have contributed…👎🏽😡

FAA turned away qualified air traffic controllers based solely on race

Vigilance is waning because the nation’s air traffic control towers are woefully understaffed. The people responsible for keeping planes from smashing into one another are tired after working long, mandatory overtime shifts to make up for the lack of controllers.

Contributing to the shortage, the FAA temporarily put the brakes on hiring in 2012 so it could replace race-blind hiring rules with a “Biographical Assessment” stratagem designed to hire more minorities.

This quiz served as further screening of applicants who had already graduated from a 200-hour training program and achieved high scores on AT-SAT, a grueling, eight-hour cognitive test that measures each of the specific skills needed to do the job properly.

Andrew Brigida became lead plaintiff in the lawsuit after his application was turned down despite his achieving a perfect, 100% score on the AT-SAT. Mr. Brigida’s attorneys claim there was a method to the madness. Race-hustling activist groups conspired with FAA officials to create the quiz so they could let their members in on a secret: Anyone could pass the Biographical Assessment by answering A to all but one of the questions.

More than 3,000 top-performing, motivated applicants lost out because they weren’t members of this ethnic club.

"...cannot be denied is (many) people of privileged..."

There. Fixed it.

Back to DEI - raise your hand if you are ready to hop on a jet today, knowing full well it will be controlled takeoff to landing by a person with severe mental diminishment... Anyone... Bueller... Bueller...?

Just to be clear Equity is not Equality. We should strive for equal opportunity, with skills testing and experience mattering most. Once I see 51 percent of Septic System Repair Companies are staffed by 51 percent of women field workers, instead as it is today, an all male industry, THEN I will be a believer in DEI

But....But... They can't get the skills... ORLY? Wasn't this said of Asians, of the Irish, etc? Weren't these also persecuted people groups? Was there some sort of magical government process that allowed them to make The Great Leap Forward? No? Then why, dear reader, do you believe without evidence that some sort of melanin level based program like this ever will?

So much Winning!!...😂😂😂👍🏽🇺🇸

Panama Vows to Terminate Key Canal Agreement With China, Strengthen Ties With America After Rubio’s Visit

In a significant diplomatic shift, Panama’s President José Raúl Mulino announced on Sunday that the nation would not renew its agreement with China’s Belt and Road Initiative. This decision comes after a visit from U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, amid concerns from President Donald Trump regarding Chinese influence over the Panama Canal.

During his meeting with Rubio, Mulino emphasized that Panama’s sovereignty over the 51-mile waterway, which links the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, would remain intact. However, he indicated a pivot towards closer cooperation with the United States, stating, “I think this visit opens the door to build new relations … and try to increase as much as possible U.S. investments in Panama.”

@sgip Please notice that I never said lesser qualified.

I speak about the many instances that we are all aware of but will not admit when a person who is equally or higher qualified and got overlooked because they did not fit the bias.

And don't get me wrong, DEI should always be for everyone, like hiring men in women owned businesses or other ethnicities in certain minority run companies.

But in all the different industries I've worked in, there is a promotion/pay prevalence that is not equal despite skill, experience and qualifications.

Raise *your* hand if you think that's not true.

Industry at least for today is under no obligation to have equal pay for equal experience. Unions don't even do that. You have to become an apprentice, then a journeyman, etc before you reach the top pay tier and even then it's a multi year process.

Be thankful that doesn't exist. If you switch jobs, should you be paid at the same rate as someone who has been at the company for 5 years with equal skills? Do you feel a newbie hired at your company should earn the same as you, even though you've given the company 5 years of your life? It's simply not feasible to have equal pay for equal skills without someone having sore feelings.

If companies could leave names off of resumes and employment applications, then somehow do truly blind interviews, we could finally see unbiased hiring. That day is far off.

Sounds like you agree... there is a bias that can be race/gender based whether it's new hires or promotions from within, what solution is there other than some type of DEI policy?

I'm sure morekaos has faced prejudice and doesn't want to admit it. And maybe someguy has prejudiced someone without even realizing it. I know I have, which is why I this is something I have strong opinions on. Being young and stupid.. you learn... being privileged and ignorant... you may not care to learn.

Let's continue to turn a blind eye and just hope the world magically rights itself.

And yes... I do find it interesting that Trump's Tariff Tantrums have been getting other countries to bend the knee... let's just hope we don't upset the wrong apple cart. Still waiting for the Day 1 promise to end the Russian/Ukraine war to happen... some things are not as easy to wish true.

of course I’ve experienced discrimination. The difference is I don’t care and move on or run them over. Hasn’t changed much in my life.🤷🏽‍♂️ it’s not something I ever dwell on

Life becomes much easier to navigate once you accept the fact that everyone hates everyone else. Human nature has been, and always will be, a beeyotch.. A thick skin, not wallowing in butthurt, standing tall, and walking straight ahead towards earned success is how everyone needs to deal with life

An oldie, but a truthy goodie

Easy to say for those who are not on the other side.

Life‘s a bitch, put your head down and push on through. The whole Kumbaya thing and hoping that others are going to do it for you in this world is Folly and a sure way to go through life envious, resentful and angry.👎🏽🦄🌈😂😂
