Fidelity Target Date 2070 fund with 0% expense ratio

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
2070? Ain’t nobody got time for that.

The asset allocation is appropriate for someone in their 20s, or older folks looking for more aggressive portfolio. TDF's increase bond allocation as you get closer to the specified/retirement date.

John C Bogle suggested on taking future realized value of social security as count it toward bonds:

So if you take this approach, you might reduce your bond allocation in 401k/IRA. You could invest in a 2070 TDF even if you're older.

Open to new retail investors. This fund invests in a range of Fidelity funds that are typically reserved for institutional or advisors.
Thanks for sharing. Is this an ETF? How does it compare to other popular ones like QQQ or SPY? Thanks.

I am confused. How could a retirement fund be suitable to someone in their 20's?

Look at the asset allocation, it's 94% equities and 6% bonds.

As a target date fund, it follows a "glide path" where the bond component increases as you get closer to retirement age.

TDF's are quite popular in 401k plans, even for those in their 20's.
