Irvine leaders claim to be "Green."
UCI is "Green."
Everyone wringing their hands over "climate change" laments "traffic" and "carbon dioxide" and the impending catastrophe of failure to pay obeisance to "saving the earth." No new construction. No new houses or apartments.
Study everything to death and kill anything that adds dreaded "traffic."

What comes in the mail today but another edition of INSIDE IRVINE, a 100-page catalog of activities for everyone to pay for and drive to. Hypocrisy on a nationwide scale, like Al Gore and Richard Branson flying private jets while they tell groundlings to take the bus.
 
Imagine complaining about a booklet of optional activities that residents can choose to participate in if they want to or not (and they provide a lot of enrichment activities for kids). You're making it as if they're forcing people to participate in all those activities. By the way, the majority of traffic on the roads aren't from people going to and from those activities (I doubt most people even partake in them) but from people running errands, going shopping, or commuting to and from work.
 
I did not "make" anything. I pointed out the offensive hypocrisy of politicians who preach environmental sanctimoniousness and then offer up hundreds of options to INCREASE "noise, traffic and pollution" after they have outlawed gas ranges, gasoline powered cars, new home or apartment construction, and otherwise interfered with normal human commerce in their anxiousness to kowtow to the Climate Change Cultists.
