So I took my daughter to Knotts today and meet a couple of elderly folks who convinced me to buy the all season dining deal.

For $145 you can buy the dining package good until end of 2025. It allows you to dine twice per day (4 hours gap) from choice of 16 restaurants, you get an entree, side, and drink. Note that there's a couple places in the park that doesn't accept the dining pass, and restaurants outside like the chicken restaurant doesn't accept it either.

The old folks told me that on weekdays the park is fairly empty and they just pull up & park in the metered lot (1 hour free), pop in to grab lunch and bail. They can come back for dinner 4 hours later if desired. They do this every day but on weekends the line is longer. For veggies they just take their plate to the hamburger fixings bar and load up lettuce and tomato.

The season pass for Knotts is $7/month for admissions. I suppose if you go there to eat 229 days over the next 15 months with the dining pass, you'd effectively pay $1/meal if once per day or 50 cents a meal if twice per day. Not bad for um, Knott's senior dining plan.

combo it with a cheap gym membership and you'll be living on the cheap.

appreciate the math, make sit much more extreme lol!

If you go in the morning, the bakery at ghost town has limited supply of egg, bacon and potato burritos. Ask for extra salsa. It's pretty good sized burrito.
