Any recommendations for a good Air Conditioning (HVAC) service repair company to do some repair work?

Thanks

Goettl subs their work out sometimes, so you may not get an employee of the company. That's not always a bad thing, but just be aware. We called them last year for a repair item. The subcontractor was quick and honest.

We had Irvine Air recommended to us this year for an HVAC replacement. They were very professional and responsive. (949) 320-3664

Make sure it isn't the capacitor, the easiest fix you'll have, pretty common too, costs $20-25 on Amazon. Lots of Youtube videos and DIY articles online, our capacitor went out earlier this summer. I've heard HVAC techs charge $200 and up and some will price gouge especially with the heat wave going right now.

I seriously think that in the age of AI, being AC technician is going to be a lucrative job; probably better than most of college degrees outside of CS/EE engineering. AC is not going away ever.

How old is the house?

If you bought the house new, you should've received a folder with contacts for the subcontractors. Try calling the subcontractor who installed the AC unit. If you don't have the folder, ask your neighbor or the builder.

When I lived in Oak Creek I had issues with my HVAC unit twice. I called the original contractor who installed it. The first time they fixed for free, the second time they charged me very reasonable fees to replace parts.

I use these guys for tune ups and have been happy with them.

Aliso Air does a lot of new construction. Normally whoever did your AC in new construction will put some sort of little sign by your door in the garage.

Pretty sure that’s second easiest. Easiest is plugged drain line causing the water sensor to trip in the overflow pan.
