How high will mortgage rates climb in the next 36 months?

Exactly. It sucks. New construction is pretty much the only option with these types of loans in Irvine, and new construction home prices are absolutely absurd at this point.

Did the UC Admissions make the right decision to drop the SAT Requirement? Should other top public universities like UMichigan, UVA, UNC, & GT follow?

Even online instruction requires a real teacher which has to asses/grade every student. You can't just have a massive number of students, regardless of online instruction being a thing.

They have to limit the class sizes because of the staffing levels and actual physical space. How do you propose a university function with an unlimited number of students?

But what does this all mean for buyers who are planning to use one of these loan types in the near future? That it will be easier to get these loan offers accepted because the companies are going to provide educational outreach on how "strong" these products are? Or what?

What does this mean? Can you explain like I'm 5?

    Student Driver stickers

Maybe parents who have new drivers and just forget to take the magnets off when the kid isn't driving. You can order them on Amazon. We used these when my son had his permit, and a couple times, we just forgot to take them off after he was done driving.

    Irvine Starter Homes 2024

I would imagine a place like Irvine would be largely unaffected by a major earthquake, given that the majority of homes were constructed with updated building codes related to earthquake tolerance. Plus, Irvine lays in a spot where any earthquake impacts would be minimal, due to the geography...

IUSD might not be best for college admission

The advice I would give would be to attend Junior College and then try to transfer in. Or go to UCLA for graduate school. Undergrad isn't as important in the grand scheme of things.

I'd like to just say WTF for ALL the asking prices on homes in Irvine. I mean, seriously, WTF?

Homes in Irvine with assumable mortgage?

Thank you. No plans to buy right now when our rent is less than 50% what our housing payment would be if we bought. Plus, there are absolutely zero homes in our price range anyway (under $1.3M). We need a larger 4bd home as we have adult disabled children living with us for life. We are in a...

Newer Irvine listings with crazy WTF asking prices from equity sellers

This is irrelevant to people's actual lived experiences. You also don't need to be "into" politics for political decisions to affect your life. Making decisions solely with regards to finances is not a smart thing to do.

I didn't say they wanted to move to CA. They lived in Chicago before and want to move back. They had to relocate for a job. They have also already been targeted in GA. They don't live in Atlanta.

Homes in Irvine with assumable mortgage?

Thanks for the info. That's discouraging. We have full VA eligibility but could never come up with the massive amounts of cash that would be needed to assume a VA loan (even though I know they are super rare). Just takes one more option off the table.

Newer Irvine listings with crazy WTF asking prices from equity sellers

Georgia's politics make it a terrible place for many people. It's not always about money. I have friends who can't wait to get out of GA, even though they make excellent salaries and own a beautiful, giant McMansion. They are a gay couple with an adopted toddler. They literally fear for their...
